Until now, business people had only the entrepreneur option to apply to. Those approved can obtain a 4-year temporary residence permit. Permanent residence in France is possible after 8 years, but most apply directly for naturalization into French citizenship as it\u2019s possible after 5 years of residence. The set of requirements are different.
